An unusually large folk art rendering of a cut-throat razor, carved from wood and presenting significant scale. This piece features a naturally aged patina, characterised by chipped paintwork and exposed timber surfaces, revealing layers of historical use and weathering. One side is painted in a faded yellow hue, bearing the hand-lettered inscription 'HOT TOWEL & SHAVING' in distressed black. The reverse is finished in a muted grey, with faint red undercoats showing through, inscribed with 'BEARDS'.
