Sensible Man Antiques is the personal antiques collection of Steve Brooker, well known from the UK television programme Mud Men. The business is operated by Steve Brooker and managed online.

This is a personal collection sale. Sensible Man Antiques is not VAT-registered and no VAT is charged on any item. All prices shown are the full purchase price in pounds sterling (GBP).

In these Terms, the following definitions apply:

• “Seller” — Sensible Man Antiques, operated by Steve Brooker.
• “Buyer” — the person who places an order on this website.
• “Item” — any antique, curio, or collectable listed for sale on this website.
• “Order” — a completed checkout where payment has been received and an order reference issued.
• “Invoice” — the PDF document issued by the Seller upon checkout, containing the order reference, item details, total, and confirmation of card payment received.

Every item sold by Sensible Man Antiques is unique and non-fungible. There is no stock quantity — once an item is sold, it is gone. We do not sell reproductions, copies, or mass-produced goods. Ever.

Items are listed as accurately as possible. Photographs form part of the item description and are taken by us to accurately represent condition, patina, and character. Natural signs of age, wear, and use are part of the object’s story and are not considered defects unless specifically noted otherwise.

All prices are as displayed at the time of ordering. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors — if a listing contains an obvious pricing error, we will contact you before processing the order.

Availability is real-time. An item can only be purchased by one buyer. If two buyers attempt to checkout simultaneously, the first to complete the transaction will secure the item and the second will be notified that the item is no longer available.

This website is provided for personal, non-commercial use only. You may browse, search, and make purchases for personal use. You may not:

• Scrape, crawl, or automate requests to this website without our prior written consent.

Item availability shown on the website is real-time but subject to the timing of database updates. In the unlikely event that an item you have purchased is not available, we will contact you immediately and issue a full refund.
