This is an original screen-used prop, the RB29 robot, featured prominently in the 'Impossible Planet' episode of the Channel 4/Amazon Prime anthology series, 'Philip K. Dick's Electric Dreams'.

Constructed in 2017, the prop features a sophisticated hydro-dipped finish over a lightweight plastic chassis. This specialized coating meticulously replicates the organic texture of timber, giving the robot a seamless, "dipped" wood-grain appearance while maintaining the structural durability of modern synthetics. The design is complemented by metallic accents and intricate joinery details, achieving a distinctive, "retro-future" aesthetic.
